Plant Controller

Our client is a mid-sized, successful and well-established manufacturing company. They are looking to hire a talented Plant Controller to manage the general accounting, cost accounting and reporting for the company. They are looking for someone with prior Controller level experience within a manufacturing company, preferably in the defense, aerospace, electronics manufacturing space. This role requires working fully onsite and offering a salary in the range of $130,000 - $150,000 plus bonus, strong benefits package inclusive of health insurance, 401k with match, tuition assistance and a generous PTO program.

Responsibilities of the position include:

· You will manage day-to-day accounting for the plant

· Oversee a team of three

· Evaluate current processes, offer improvement ideas

· Heavy involvement in month-end close, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, etc.

· Assist outside auditors with year-end audits

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting

· 10+ years of accounting experience required, CPA license is a plus

· Experience in the aerospace, defense and/or electronics manufacturing field a must

· 3+ years of management experience required

· Strong ERP experience

· Top notch organizational skills and the ability to collaborate across the company

· Strong communication skills and ability to work well with company executives
