Senior Public Relations Account Executive

This is a hybrid role mixing remote work with a few days per week in our New York office. We are also open to qualified candidates located elsewhere in the U.S.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Media Strategy + Execution

• Own the pitching strategy for launches, funding news, review programs, and ongoing thought leadership
• Land tier-one coverage—and know the difference between coverage that looks good in a recap and coverage that actually works
• Develop senior-level media relationships, including product reviewers and category editors
• Build proactive angles out of client data, category trends, and cultural moments instead of waiting on announcements
• Know when a story isn’t there yet—and say so

Client Work

• Serve as a day-to-day client contact with the judgment to handle most things independently
• Run workstreams end to end, including launch plans, review programs, event press, and award slates
• Prep and coach spokespeople and staff high-stakes interviews and briefings
• Present results with a point of view about what to do next—not just a list of what ran

Team + Integration

• Mentor AEs and coordinators, review their pitches, and raise the standard of the work around you
• Partner with our affiliate, influencer, and events teams so earned, commerce, and creator work reinforce each other
• Understand how commerce content and AI-driven search are changing which placements matter—and pitch accordingly
• Contribute to new business through media landscape research and pitch materials

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 3-5 years of PR experience, with meaningful agency experience
• A tier-one placement record you can walk us through—including the stories that took three months to land
• Established relationships with consumer, tech, business, or lifestyle reporters and product reviewers
• An excellent writer and fast, clear thinker on deadline
• Able to independently run your own workstreams without close management
• Early leadership instincts—people like working with you and learn from you
• Interested in where PR is heading, including commerce content, creators, and AI-driven discovery
