Role Overview The Division of Pediatric Pain, Palliative and Integrative Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco seeks faculty to join our growing team at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank in the Adjunct, Health Sciences (HS) Clinical, Clinical X, or In Residence series. Candidates will serve both the San Francisco and Oakland campuses, contributing to excellence in research, education, and patient care. Clinical duties include inpatient consultations in pain, palliative care, or integrative medicine, oversight of outpatient clinics dedicated to these services, and weekend/night call coverage. Minimum Qualifications MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree, with eligibility for medical licensure in California Demonstrated interest in pediatric pain, palliative care, and/or integrative medicine Commitment to excellence in medical education Preferred Qualifications Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatrics Board certification or board eligibility in Pain Medicine, Palliative Care, or Integrative Medicine Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across pediatric disciplines Experience teaching and supervising learners, including medical students, residents, and fellows Evidence of scholarly activity, program development, or quality improvement initiatives Position Details For positions that are 51% effort or more, the minimum base salary range is $114,100–$344,400, with eligibility for additional compensation under the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. For positions that are 50% effort or less, the salary range is approximately $81,500–$246,000.
