Experienced Project Management Specialist – Spacecraft Products Company: The Boeing Company Division: Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS)/Space Mission Systems (SMS) Location: El Segundo, California Role: Project Management Specialist (Level 3) – Boeing’s Common Products Group – Government and Commercial Spacecraft Products Position Responsibilities Lead, develop, coordinate, integrate, analyze, and maintain integrated plans and schedules for complex projects, programs, and change‑driven activities in accordance with project management industry best practices. Develop and establish lead time requirements. Facilitate and ensure integration of project/program plan, schedules, change and baseline management, processes, and techniques considered best practice across the industry. Act as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives. Direct all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion. Coordinate commitments with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategies. Apply willingness to stretch beyond experience base and take risks to achieve objectives. Basic Qualifications (Required) Experience partnering with cross‑functional teams on projects and initiatives. Experience in a role that required calculated risk‑taking in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment. Preferred Qualifications (Desired) Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM). Experience in project management. Bachelor’s Degree or higher. Active Top Secret/SCI clearance preferred.
