This person will be highly skilled in human resources, finance, vendor management, client management support, IT management and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within the department teams.

Position: Operations Manager (Salaried Employee, in-Office)

Role Summary:

The Operations Manager keeps a business organized and moving forward by improving workflows, managing budgets, and coordinating team resources. This role often acts as second-in-command to the CEO and CFO for aligning production with overall strategy and execution. Also, oversees daily business activities and guides management staff to run operations efficiently, cut costs, and meet company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Improvement: Lead, motivate, support, design and update daily workflows, fix bottlenecks, and boost overall productivity.

Budget and Finance: Manage operational budgets, track financial data, and look for ways to increase profits.

Team Leadership: Support staff, lead performance reviews, and train employees.

Compliance and Quality: Ensure the company follows legal guidelines, safety regulations, compliance oversight and quality (QA/QC) standards.

Cross-Department Coordination: Work with finance, HR, program managers, upper management and company executives to align day-to-day tasks with long-term plans.

Client and Contract Support: Coordinate and lead efforts to solve client issues and ensure contract compliance.

Preferred Requirements and Qualifications:

Education: A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.

Experience: A minimum of five years of proven experience in operations management, financial systems and account reporting experience in a leadership role.

Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, budgeting and communication abilities. Must demonstrate a high-level of skill implementing and managing technology tools relevant to operating a small or medium sized corporation. Multiple years of financial and account reporting experience. Expertise in conflict management and business negotiation processes. Knowledge of business productivity software and an aptitude for learning new applications.

Objectives of This Role:

•      Lead by example and maintain constant communication with managers, staff, clients and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company

•      Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance QA/QC protocols

•      Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity

•      Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget

•      Track staffing requirements, and assist HR with hiring new employees as needed

•      Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable departments

•      Renegotiate/renew and oversee company accounts, contracts and obligations

•      Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service

•      Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems

•      Work closely with legal and safety requirements to ensure that activities remain compliant

•      Oversee office/computer inventory

•      Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management

• Support staff, lead performance reviews, train employees and measure the success rate of implementations and changes

COMPENSATION ($145K - $165K/yr. Salaried Full-Time Employee):

Competitive pay rate + benefits package including a 401K plan. Actual salary will be based on candidate qualifications & experience.
