Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a cardiovascular operating room setting at a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Circulate open heart surgeries and vascular cases including procedures such as angiograms, aortograms, EVAR, TVAR, TCAR, and open AAA
• Care for patients with diagnoses including peripheral vascular disease, aortic disease, carotid disease, coronary artery disease, valve disease, TAVR, and aortic dissections
• Operate and assist with specialized equipment including hybrid room setup
• Participate in on-call coverage as needed
• Complete documentation accurately using Cerner EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or valid compact license at time of submittal (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience with both vascular and cardiac experience required
• Ability to pass a pre-start EKG exam (up to 3 attempts allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical or religious exemptions accepted)
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to qualify
• Completion of required pre-start compliance documentation and modules prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Experience working in a hybrid OR room environment
