Dental Patient Care Coordinator – Pediatric Dental Office
Location: Hacienda Heights, CA 91745
Job Type: Full-Time | ~32 hours/week
Pay: $27–$31/hour, based on experience and qualifications
Our boutique, privately owned pediatric dental practice is looking for an experienced, friendly, and organized Dental Patient Care Coordinator to join our team.
Previous dental front-office experience is required. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and families and provides excellent patient service in a busy dental office.
Schedule- Full-time, 4 days per week — approximately 32 hours
- Monday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Tuesday or Thursday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- $27–$31/hour, based on experience and qualifications

- Answer phones and manage appointment scheduling
- Confirm appointments and communicate with patients
- Verify dental insurance and benefits
- Review treatment plans and explain insurance coverage, estimates, and patient out-of-pocket costs
- Collect payments and assist with patient accounts
- Respond to emails and text messages
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Coordinate with the clinical team to keep the schedule running smoothly
- Provide a welcoming, professional patient experience
Required:
- Previous dental front-office experience
- Understanding of dental insurance, treatment planning, insurance breakdowns, treatment estimates, and patient financial responsibility
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Preferred:
- Dentrix experience
- Pediatric or family dental experience
