Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in MedSurg/Tele for a travel assignment in Shelby, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing patients undergoing procedures such as joint replacements, colon resections, and medical overflow patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients with various medical conditions and post-surgical status
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage cardiac drips
• Perform wound care and manage drains and tubes
• Initiate PIV starts and manage central lines
• Collaborate with CNAs, charge nurses, and other healthcare team members

Qualifications

Required:

• 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
• Current RN licensure
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Basic Med/Tele skillset including cardiac rhythm interpretation, non-titrating cardiac drips management, wound care, and tube management
