TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Shelby, North Carolina, 28150!

Job Title: RN - MedSurg/Tele Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MedSurg/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 18 months Med/Tele RN experience License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Basic Med/Tele skillset including cardiac rhythm interpretation, experience with non-titrating cardiac drips, and general medical/surgical care. Description: Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, caring for patients with various diagnoses including cardiac, respiratory, and neuro conditions. You will manage a patient ratio of 1:5-6 during regular staffing, with potential surges leading to ratios of up to 1:7-8. You will collaborate with a CNA on a 1:12 ratio, dedicated resources will always be available for staff support, including phlebotomy and a 24/7 respiratory team. You will need to demonstrate proficiency with the EMR system, as well as have experience with IV pumps and medication dispensing systems. Floating to other facilities within the designated region is required, and you will be compensated for travel time between facilities if needed. Weekend rotations are part of the scheduling requirements, with a possibility of low census calls during nights and weekends. Traveler staff will be expected to work 75% of holidays. Request time off is permitted for up to 6 days, with considerations for holiday scheduling. The work environment is described as supportive and positive.
