Overview Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding Pediatric Neurologist to NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring an 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital with emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine. Values emphasize social and racial equity and ICARE standards for all staff. Opportunity Details Evaluate and diagnose neurological disorders in pediatric patients. Develop and manage treatment plans tailored to each patient, including medications, therapy, or surgical referrals. Provide ongoing management of chronic neurological conditions. Collaborate with other pediatric specialists, rehabilitation therapists, and social workers. Educate families on disease management, treatment options, and long-term care. Contribute to teaching and training of residents and medical students. Qualifications Active NY State medical license Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Neurology Compensation and Benefits Annual Base Salary: $242,000 (Board Eligible); $252,000 (Board Certified) based on a 40-hour work week. Additional compensation may be available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. Estimated total annual compensation: $361,720 (Board Eligible) and $372,720 (Board Certified), including base salary and benefits as outlined below. Additional compensation details: Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours per week: $55,520. Projected bonus up to $40,000 based on quality and productivity targets. 401(k) company contribution: 3% immediately, then 7% after one year of service (no employee match required).
