Phlebotomist III - Floater

Location: Saginaw, MI

Pay Rate: $28/hr

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm

As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in delivering quality patient care while ensuring accurate specimen collection and processing. Your professionalism, technical expertise, and commitment to patient service will directly support timely and accurate diagnostic testing.

What You'll Do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients

• Collect, process, label, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures

• Verify patient identification and demographic information to ensure specimen accuracy

• Maintain required documentation and records in compliance with company standards

• Provide exceptional patient care while creating a positive and professional experience

• Travel between multiple patient service centers and/or physician office locations as needed

• Support both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing activities

• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections

• Previous experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred

• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred

• Phlebotomy certification preferred

• Strong specimen collection, processing, and labeling skills

• Excellent customer service and patient communication abilities

• Keyboard and data entry experience

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record

• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and cover multiple locations as needed

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment

• Ability to meet compliance requirements
