Location: USA - Hainesport, Marne Highway Division: Solutions Job Posting Title: Material Handler - 117687 Time Type: Full Time Position Summary The Material Handler – Warehouse Operator is responsible for operating a forklift and other material handling equipment for the purpose of shipping, receiving, and picking. Activities may include but are not limited to loading or unloading, scanning, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. This individual is also responsible for counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. These associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and are expected to perform all duties as assigned. Associates are expected to comply with all corporate and site‑specific policies. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Shipping Responsibilities Use a gas or electric powered forklift to load outbound shipments, move product, and stack products or materials. Efficiently and accurately load orders according to the appropriate doors and trailers. Process all shipping functions as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures. Receiving Responsibilities Use a gas or electric powered forklift to unload inbound shipments, move product, replenish, stack and store products or materials. Efficiently and accurately locate and place products in the appropriate storage areas. Process all receiving functions as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures. Picking Responsibilities Use a gas or electric powered forklift to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands. Efficiently and accurately pick products and stage them in the appropriate areas. Stack, package, band, shrink wrap, and label products as determined by client requirements. Process all picking functions as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures. Quality Control Responsibilities Use appropriate documentation to ensure that all products and orders are received, handled, and shipped correctly. Verify that products and/or orders meet quality standards, including reporting any damages or discrepancies. Stack, package, shrink wrap, and label products. Process all quality control functions as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures. Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance Execute all safety protocols and accomplish all job tasks in a manner that promotes safety. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility; assist in warehouse security. Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/MSDS Standards. Equipment Operation Operate sit‑down, stand‑up, reach truck, sweeper scrubber, scissor lift, cherry picker, aisle master, or pallet jack. Maintain equipment and report equipment problems. Inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment daily. Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods. Maintain an active forklift certification. Maintenance Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned. Other Duties Perform other duties as assigned. Work overtime as dictated by business. Minimum Required Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED). At least 6 months experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment. Ability to operate material handling equipment. Completion of a forklift training program. Other Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse. Temperature range may vary from mild to moderate. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Basic computer skills. RF scanner proficiency. WMS functions. English (reading, writing, verbal). Basic to intermediate math to verify quantities, count inventory. Strong attention to detail and accuracy; timely completion of tasks. Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision. Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Preferred Qualifications 1–3 years experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment. 1–3 years forklift experience.Current or prior MHE certification. Physical Demands Occasionally handle/finger, sit; frequently bend; constantly walk and stand. Lift/carry and push/pull 21–50 pounds. Reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel. Work Environment Noise level usually low to moderate. Employee rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. Compensation Base pay range is $20.00 – $20.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on job‑related factors such as experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
