Required Skills:

• Board eligibility or certification in Cardiology
• Valid medical license in the state
• DEA certification
• Strong clinical knowledge in cardiology, including common procedures and diagnostics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with advanced cardiac procedures
• Familiarity with telemedicine technologies
• Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Prior experience in a hospital or outpatient setting

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• At least 3 years of post-residency clinical experience in cardiology
• Prior experience working in hospital consults and outpatient clinics

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to participate in hospital call schedules
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Ability to obtain credentialing within 120 days (or sooner)
