Manager - Supplier and Performance Management

Set up and manage supplier performance measures (KPIs) for quality, delivery, cost, innovation, and sustainability Review supplier performance regularly and work with suppliers to improve results when needed Manage supplier scorecards and audits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements Identify ways to help suppliers improve their performance and capabilities Work with facility teams and suppliers to identify the causes of quality or delivery issues and implement corrective actions Partner with suppliers to improve processes and support continuous improvement efforts Work with sourcing teams to ensure supplier capabilities support business goals Support the selection and approval of suppliers for new programs or products Build and maintain strong supplier relationships that support long-term business objectives Maintain supplier backup and contingency plans to reduce business risk Monitor supplier performance trends and provide updates to leadership Provide input and documentation to support sourcing strategies Support initiatives to improve mailroom operations Requirements 4+ years of defining, managing and monitoring facility performance across multiple locations 4+ years developing, managing and executing new facility processes and programs across multiple locations 3+ years defining and driving continuous improvement initiatives Minimum 5 years’ work experience in facilities operations and corporate real estate management Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills Demonstrated ability to develop successful relationships with and influence customers, both internal and external Strong understanding of performance metrics, quality systems, and procurement processes Bachelors Degree required Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is required; the company will not pursue visa sponsorship Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus Experience in a global matrix management organization is desirable Proficiency in data analysis and supplier performance tracking tools (Vantage, Tableau, Power BI) is preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in managing supplier performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and developing strong supplier relationships to support business objectives.
