So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.As an Assembler I, this position works to assemble products by positioning and installing components and subassemblies according to drawings and instructions. Using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment that are needed to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble coolers. Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools. Verify specifications by measuring completed cooler components. Assist Team Leader or Manager with training new employees.This position is in Tulsa, Oklahoma and/or Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.As a part of the team, you will:Positions parts and subassemblies by reading blueprints and instructions.Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit.Operates hand and power tools to connect parts.Performs tube installation and rolling operations.Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions with Team Lead, Supervisor and/or Team Manager approval.Provides needed material(s) to various workstations and/or locations.Loads and unloads trucks, units and parts.Reads blueprints or instructions for job specifications.Operates cut saws, drill presses, and punch press, as needed to fabricate parts and subassemblies.Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; and troubleshooting malfunctions.Use precision measuring devices to check quality of work.Safely rigs structure and material for movement by overhead crane.Responsible for maintaining a clean work area both during and at the end of each work shift.All employees are expected to prioritize safety, regardless of role.
