To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable, detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. In this role, the Administrative Assistantis expected to keep both the company goals and customer expectations in mind when performing daily tasks. The Administrative Assistant must be a self-starter with a professional attitude and demeanor, capable of interacting with all levels of personnel in a fast-paced work environment, and the ability to work independently is critical to success. Along with the essential duties listed below, this position will assist in answering phone calls, taking memos, maintaining files, and sending and receiving correspondence. Review and maintain internal controldocuments Monitor trainingcompliance Update weekly employee workschedules Process approved employee swaps Perform daily payrollprocessing Create weekly performancereports Job Qualifications and Competencies: Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task Ability to work independentlyand meet specifieddeadlines Ability to work well with all levels of management and supportpersonnel Advanced abilityin Microsoft Office Suite Excellent writing and speakingskills Preferred Qualifications: Previous administrative experience in a busy office environment Skilled in computer knowledge and usage Knowledge of basic airport proceduresand fundamental job requirements for airlines Current Piedmont employee with a minimum six months of service Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business Administration, or related field Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other officeequipment Ability to work a flexible schedule ifneeded Physical Requirements: Occasionallifting,upto 25pounds The above statements provide a brief description of the general nature of work performed and are not intended to be a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required for this position.
