Position Title: Paraprofessional (Long-Term Substitute)

Terms of Employment: 6.67 hours per day ( April 27, 2026 through October 2, 2026)
Salary: $22.33 / hourly
Benefits: Not eligible


Job Summary:

The Long-Term Paraprofessional provides instructional, behavior, and supervisory support to students under the direction of a certified teacher during a leave of absence. This role ensures continuity of support with classroom activities, reinforcing lessons, and supporting students with diverse learning needs. The Long-Term Paraprofessional helps maintain a structured, positive and inclusive learning environment while collaborating with teachers and staff to promote student success through the duration of the assignment.

Education/Certification/License:

• Professional Educator License (PEL), Paraprofessional License or Substitute License registered in Region 06 West Cook
