Work on cross-functional teams to create impactful products. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will collaborate with other engineers and guide designers to achieve project goals. The products involve various printing technologies and components like injection-molded plastic, sheet metal, machining, rubber molding, power transmission, DC motors, lasers, and sensors. This role is based onsite to support hands‑on design and collaboration. Responsibilities:Understand product requirements and develop solutionsUse theoretical calculations and analytical methods to develop and support mechanical conceptsApply sound engineering judgment to solve technical problemsApply strong understanding of design for manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality parts.Review or create part drawings, solid models and bills of materialLead design reviewsWork with suppliers to produce partsPrototype, test, and iterated on designs Provide project, people, and team leadershipIdentify and implement continuous improvement opportunitiesBasic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering5+ years of product development experience3D solid modeling experienceGeneral use of PC applicationsMust be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for USPreferred Qualifications:Experience using SolidWorks 3D CAD programExperience working with mechanical and electromechanical productsExperience with injection-molded, plastic-part designExperience with sheet metal, machined part designExperience with Matlab and SimulinkPower transmission design experienceExperience designing products for volume productionMechanical aptitude with hands-on skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsLeadership skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsDetail-oriented, deadline driven, self-directed and organized individualAbility to excel in highly interactive team environmentCommitment to learning and continuous improvementBenefits:Competitive paid time off (PTO), holidays and volunteer time.Medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.Company paid life and disability coverage.401(k) retirement plan with company matchFlexible work environment supporting work–life balance.Annual Incentive PlanWellness programs and employee resource groupsWhere you will be: Minneapolis, MN, working in‑office Monday through Friday. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan.
