Executive Assistant and Board Liaison

$33 per hour
We are partnering with a prestigious national non-profit organization dedicated to advocacy and public policy in Arlington, VA, to identify a high-caliber Executive Assistant & Board Liaison.

This is a premier temporary opportunity for a sophisticated executive support professional to step into a pivotal, high-visibility role. Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, you will serve as the strategic operational anchor for both the Chief of Staff and the President/CEO. If you are a polished, analytical, and proactive leader who thrives under pressure and commands a high level of discretion, this role offers an exceptional platform to engage with senior executives and board members at the highest organizational level.

salary: $33 - $36 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

  • Executive & CEO Support: Serve as the primary gateway and strategic partner to the CEO; manage a complex, dynamic calendar, screen communications, prioritize urgent matters, and coordinate seamless domestic business travel and expense reporting.

  • Board of Directors Liaison: Solely responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of all Board of Directors meetings and events; serve as the primary point of contact for board members, distributing sensitive materials and managing queries.

  • Strategic Operations & Project Management: Lead and support special projects and strategic initiatives on behalf of the Chief of Staff; research, compile, and analyze data to produce comprehensive reports, presentations, and meeting minutes.

  • Cross-Functional Communication: Transmit directives and assignments from the CEO to internal and external senior leaders, monitoring progress and ensuring organizational alignment.

  • Policy & Process Optimization: Establish, revise, and maintain Executive Office procedures, filing systems, and departmental financial tracking or contract arrangements.

  • Confidentiality & Discretion: Handle highly sensitive, confidential information with absolute discretion, ensuring strict compliance with organizational protocols and regulations.
