Keep Our Operation Moving. Join our growing team as a Receiving Specialist, where you'll be the first link in the supply chain—receiving materials, managing inventory, and helping ensure production never misses a beat.

Summary/Objective
The Receiving Specialist efficiently and safely receives, verifies and organizes all deliveries as well as preforms cycle counting as needed.

Essential Functions

• Must be able to become certified under company guidelines to operate a forklift and to operate all material moving equipment within the facility
• Unload trailers, receive deliveries, verify counts, and inspect quality of incoming Materials
• Transfer incoming items to storage areas
• Assist in moving items from storage areas to stock the Shipping Department, Custom Shop, Component Shop, etc.
• Perform cycle counts as necessary and reconcile inventory as needed.
• Enter information into Acumatica ERP/Savant ERP system using scan gun, tablet or PC
• Work closely with the Director, Manufacturing Operations and Inventory Manager, to prioritize projects and be as productive as possible according to the specific needs of the company
• Provide runner services as needed
• Maintain working knowledge of storage locations of all components, liners, etc.
• Cooperate fully with all company policies and procedures both verbal and written.
• Maintain good housekeeping habits
• Other duties as required and assigned

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. Temperature is varied to the temperature outside due to open doors and garages.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items 50 pounds unassisted. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position during the first shift of the workday, normally Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm.

Travel
No travel is expected for this position

Required Education and Experience

• Minimum of a high school education or GED equivalent
• Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions
• Must be able to problem solve, manage time, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Great communication and organizational skills and extreme attention to detail and safety
• Minimum of one year forklift experience
• Basic computer skills, MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Email) and familiarity with ERP systems preferred
