Field Sales Consultant - Western Michigan

Position Overview As the Sales Consultant in the K-12 market you are expected to travel throughout the Western Michigan and Northeastern Indiana territory to meet current and prospective customers. You will conduct in-person sales consultations with faculty, curriculum directors and administrators, develop and implement plans to achieve sales goals, and drive new business to grow within the territory. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-person sales consultations with faculty, curriculum directors, and administrators. Develop and implement sales plans to achieve and exceed annual sales goals. Drive new business and develop growth within the assigned territory. Provide accurate forecasting and sales activity reports using company sales tools. Participate in network-building opportunities such as conferences, group presentations, and industry functions within the territory. Transport materials to customer locations as required. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Proven record of consistent sales and goal-achievement performance. Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills. Ability to build and implement sales solutions and maintain effective working relationships with customers, prospects, internal partners, colleagues, and management. Detailed territory management and organizational skills. Strong proficiency with business technologies, including PCs, mobile devices, multiple applications, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Physical ability to lift 50 lbs unaided and move up to 100 lbs with mechanical assistance. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of teaching, sales, or publishing experience. Sales experience in and/or proven understanding of digital information delivery. Familiarity with Salesforce is beneficial. Compensation Base pay range is $52,000.00 to $67,600.00 USD. Sales roles often include incentive compensation beyond this base pay range.
