Multiple positions are available for onsite roles, with openings at several elementary, middle, and high school locations for the upcoming academic year. This assignment spans from late August 2026 to early June 2027, providing the chance to make a lasting impact on student learning and growth.

Qualifications:

• Valid Delaware Special Education Teacher license is required
• Previous teaching experience in a special education setting preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive and encouraging learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction for students with diverse learning needs
• Assess student progress, adapting instructional methods as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Foster student independence, social skills, and academic development
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting
• Support a positive classroom culture where all students feel valued

Assignment Details:

• Full-time: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Schedule varies by school (elementary, middle, and high school hours available)
• Positions available at multiple school sites—candidates may indicate their preferred location
• Contract runs from August 25, 2026, through June 8, 2027
