Job Summary We are seeking a Bilingual Spanish HR Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Orange, CA within a manufacturing environment supporting the aerospace and defense industry. This role is ideal for an experienced human resources leader who enjoys being hands‑on, partnering with operations, and building strong employee relationships across hourly and salaried teams. The Bilingual Spanish HR Manager will serve as a key member of the division leadership team and will help shape a positive, open‑door culture focused on compliance, engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Manage HR programs and processes across recruiting, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, training, workers’ compensation, and compliance. Lead recruiting efforts for hourly and salaried positions, partnering with managers to attract, assess, and hire qualified talent. Ensure compliance with federal and California employment laws, with a strong focus on wage and hour requirements and leave of absence administration. Partner with leadership on performance management, goal setting, employee development plans, engagement, and organizational effectiveness. Serve on the Safety Committee and coordinate workers’ compensation matters, return‑to‑work status, restrictions, and claim‑related communication. Supervise the HR Generalist while serving as a trusted HR advisor to the General Manager, peer managers, and employees. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $120,000 to $150,000 per year. For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, AppleOne is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required. Required Qualifications and Skills Manage full‑scope HR operations for a manufacturing division, including employee relations, compliance, recruiting, benefits, and performance management. Lead division recruiting for hourly and salaried positions while supporting workforce planning and hiring priorities. Administer performance management, compensation processes, training initiatives, and employee development programs. Partner with EH&S and leadership on workers’ compensation, safety‑related HR matters, and return‑to‑work coordination. 7+ years of human resources experience required. Human resources experience in a manufacturing environment required. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish. Comprehensive knowledge of federal and California wage and hour laws and leave of absence regulations. Experience implementing and administering HR programs across talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, benefits, employee development, and workers’ compensation. Strong employee relations skills with the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve concerns objectively. Ability to coach managers, influence leadership, and support a culture of engagement, accountability, and high performance. Strong communication, organizational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. Experience supervising or mentoring HR staff preferred for success in this leadership role. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience. Experience using an HCM system or ERP system with an HR module preferred. Experience participating in compensation surveys and supporting compensation analysis preferred. Prior HR leadership experience in aerospace, defense, precision manufacturing, or another regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
