PCA (Personal Care Assistant)

Role: Personal Care Aide responsible for providing in-home care to clients, ensuring safety, comfort, and support with daily activities. Responsibilities Include Following individualized care plans and completing daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets. Assisting with personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulation, and feeding, including special diet needs. Using equipment like walkers and wheelchairs safely and effectively. Maintaining a clean, safe environment and adhering to infection control and safety protocols. Encouraging client independence and respecting confidentiality and privacy. Notifying management of any changes in client condition or safety concerns. Assisting with secondary tasks like laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping as needed. Providing support for medication self-administration, without direct administration. Reporting any abuse, neglect, or unsafe environments immediately. Qualifications High school diploma preferred, ability to read/write required. At least 6 months of validated caregiving experience. Must be 18 years or older.
