Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
• Within 30 days of employment, establish relationships with your stakeholders, become competent in Client's data strategies, and work closely with your business partners to understand their unique data needs.
• Within 90 days of employment, you will be expected to design, align, and drive Client data strategies, while building best in class data products to support your partners.
• Within 180 days, you will be expected to support your business partners long and short-term data needs by strategically positioning data products with the stakeholders. This will require you to build strong relationships, accurate business assessments and to translate their business needs into long term data driven solutions.
What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
Your regular activities can be modified to suit your professional strengths, but you can expect a variety of the following assignments:
• Enable the organization with and evangelize how to adopt industry standard SaaS Metrics/KPIs
• Reporting of insights, trends, forecasts, and customer health drivers to influence business decisions and spur action to protect and grow recurring revenue
• Customer segmentation/cohort development to aid in SaaS metrics analytics
• Advanced analytics for renewals, cost optimization and product usage to help optimize operational execution
• Strategic partner to Customer Success and Business Partners, leading with a point of view
• Deliver reporting utilizing our BI tools (including but not limited to SAP BOBJ and Tableau) to successfully transition and transform current state reporting to improved analytic capabilities, effectively drive, and improve the self-service model in the business
• Provide support to business partners by developing dashboards, reports, visualizations, advanced analytics solutions to answer business questions leveraging strong knowledge of SQL.
• Prototype reports/ dashboards to get users engaged and excited about BI & Analytics solutions
• Oversight and project manage Data, BI & Analytics related tasks within the mid-scale projects such as providing status reports, lead BI requirement gathering sessions and UAT activities
• Perform current state to future state detailed impact analysis activities to provide input to BI data migration strategy and recommended end state solution
• Partner closely with IT teams on functional requirements and design to drive successful end state solutions and user experiences
• Work with partners in the domain to develop a conceptual understanding of the underlying Systems, Reporting and analytical Model
Preferred Qualifications
• Domain experience working with BI analytics or within operations teams at a SaaS company
• Highly experienced with SaaS economics and understanding of how SaaS businesses grow
• 5+ years in customer analytics with preferably in a B2B environment, Big 5 consulting role, or equivalent experience
