Travel Sonographer - OB/GYN Specialty

Location: Richmond, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Travel Sonographer with expertise in OB/GYN specialties. The ideal candidate will work at a Perinatal Center, providing exceptional care to our patients through detailed fetal examinations. This role requires a strong foundation in sonography within a hospital setting and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed fetal anatomy exams in various stages of pregnancy.
• Perform 1st Trimester BPP Dopplers and OB Complete Fetal Echoes.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in the EMR system (Viewpoint, Expanse).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting as a Sonographer.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARDMS certification in OB/GYN is required.
• Experience with detailed fetal examination and fetal echo is preferred.
