Senior Accountant (Tax) – CPA
Full-Time | Hybrid Remote | Murfreesboro/Lebanon

As a Senior Accountant , you’ll work closely with partners and staff in our open-door, collaborative culture, serving as a trusted advisor to both individual and business clients.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare individual, fiduciary, and business income tax returns
• Oversee the efforts of multiple engagements at once, in a variety of industries with the ability to manage and budget
• Prepare clear and accurate workpapers
• Research and interpret tax laws and regulations
• Effectively and actively communicate important and time sensitive matters
• Stay current on tax standards, laws, and firm policies
• Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality

What We’re Looking For:

• CPA license (or actively pursuing licensure)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience in public accounting with a tax focus
• Strong technical knowledge of business, individual, and state/local tax preparation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and budgets
• Ability to leverage current technologies while embracing new tools and concepts to enhance efficiency and client service
• Ability to communicate complex financial information with clarity and professionalism, both in writing and verbally
• Staff supervisory and project leadership experience
• Perform complex financial analysis
• Excellent verbal, written & listening communication skills
• Ability to be self-directed, work with a team or autonomously
• Excellent client development/relationship building skills & ability to identify potential client opportunities with firm leadership
