Buzz Franchise Brands (BFB) is a fast-growing multi-brand franchising company in the service industry, and we’re looking for an energetic and hard-working field operations professional to join our Pool Scouts team. Working alongside operations and brand leadership, thePool Operations Manager is responsible for providing exceptional field operations and technical support to our franchise partners across the country. This full-time position is based at our company headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in the pool service industry, strong people skills and a passion for entrepreneurship. Must be a fit with our fun, hardworking and energetic culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on all aspects of pool cleaning services and the Pool Scouts way of servicing customers.

• Provide high-touch support in all aspects of field operations to franchise owners and their staff; includes face-to-face technical support, phone/email support and video chat as needed.

• Deliver initial and follow-on field operations training to franchise business owners, their office staff and their technicians.

• Help develop training material collateral for relevant topics such as water chemistry, standard operating procedures, vehicle and equipment, personal protective equipment, pool and products, troubleshooting techniques, and repair basics.

• Conduct franchisee site visits as required.

• Serve as a liaison to field operations vendors (e.g., swimming pool supply distributors, vehicle partners, field operations software) to provide best-in-class support to the franchising system.

• Provide field operations support to the franchise candidate recruitment process.

• Work with the Brand President on special projects as needed.

• Active participation in annual company meetings and franchisee convention.

Required Qualifications  

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the pool service industry.

• Proficient in pool water chemistry, pool equipment diagnosis and repair.

• Ability to travel on short notice and respond to after-hours requests.

• Experience in the franchise industry or multi-location business a plus.

• Highly organized with strong time management skills and ability to multi-task.

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

• Outstanding work ethic, keen attention to detail and willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Standard computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM applications.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
