Assistant Project Manager

We're working with an industry-leading builder on a confidential search for an Assistant Project Manager. In addition to leading field teams, this role will manage Project Engineers on complex and high-profile construction projects in Houston including healthcare, mission critical, advanced manufacturing and life sciences.

A strong Senior Project Engineer, Lead Project Engineer, Project Engineering Manager, Assistant Project Manager or emerging Project Manager who:

Successfully delivers large commercial, healthcare, higher education, mission-critical, or advanced manufacturing projects and is ready for broader leadership responsibility.
Is Recognized for your strong technical construction expertise.
Has Demonstrated leadership experience with effective client-facing skills.
Has A Passion for developing high-performing teams.
Combines technology driven project oversight with a people-first management philosophy .

More than a traditional APM role , you'll oversee and develop Project Engineers, lead contract administration, procurement, document control, change management, and project execution while partnering closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, owners, architects, and trade partners.
