Work Environment\n

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, you will be a key member of our multidisciplinary School Mental Health Team, collaborating closely with educators, counselors, and other healthcare professionals. Your work setting will be primarily remote, offering the flexibility to manage your professional commitments while still having access to the resources and support of a robust healthcare organization. The hours are typically from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts or on-call availability as needed to address urgent student mental health situations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for students, considering their personal history, presenting concerns, and risk factors to formulate an accurate diagnosis.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize addressing mental health concerns while promoting emotional well-being and a successful integration into the school community.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused therapies, during both individual and group sessions.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions specifically tailored to help students develop effective coping strategies and achieve personal growth.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to manage care continuity, engaging with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other specialists to provide a holistic treatment approach.

• Provide crisis intervention services effectively and respond to mental health emergencies using de-escalation techniques and making appropriate referrals for higher-level care as needed.

• Offer psychoeducation to students and their families, empowering them to navigate mental health resources and treatment options.

• Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to staff development activities to promote continued learning and collaboration.

You will primarily interact with a student population that spans various ages, backgrounds, and mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid LICSW licensure in the state of Washington.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health, particularly within educational or community health settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
