PROGRAM MANAGER

Program Manager – RF EngineeringThe Program Manager – RF Engineering is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of complex RF-based products and technology programs from concept through production. This role combines technical knowledge of RF systems with strong project and program management skills to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, manage schedules, mitigate risks, and ensure successful customer delivery.The ideal candidate has experience working with RF hardware, wireless communications, antennas, microwave systems, or aerospace/defense technologies and can effectively bridge the gap between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customer stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesLead cross-functional engineering programs involving RF, electrical, mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams.Develop and maintain integrated program schedules, budgets, milestones, and resource plans.Coordinate design reviews, technical readiness reviews, and customer milestone meetings.Monitor program risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and cost objectives.Serve as the primary interface between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and executive leadership.Track technical performance, cost, schedule, and deliverables using established program management methodologies.Support proposal development, project planning, and customer presentations.Manage configuration changes, engineering change requests (ECRs), and product lifecycle activities.Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Drive continuous improvement in program execution and cross-functional collaboration.Diamond Antenna & Microwave is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer - Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation / AgeRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.5–10+ years of experience in RF engineering, wireless communications, aerospace, defense, telecommunications, or related industries.3+ years of experience managing technical projects or engineering programs.Strong understanding of:RF design and testingAntenna systemsMicrowave componentsWireless communicationsSignal integrity and RF measurementsExperience with program management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or Primavera.Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, or Business Administration.PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.Experience with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.Familiarity with systems engineering processes and requirements management.Experience supporting defense or aerospace programs (DoD, FAA, or similar).Knowledge of manufacturing processes, qualification testing, and production readiness.Technical SkillsRF systems and subsystem integrationNetwork analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and RF test equipmentWireless standards (LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, SATCOM, or radar)Requirements managementRisk managementEarned Value Management (EVM)Product lifecycle management (PLM)Schedule and budget managementMicrosoft Office SuiteMicrosoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar toolsKey CompetenciesTechnical leadershipStrategic planningCross-functional collaborationCustomer relationship managementRisk identification and mitigationDecision-makingProblem solvingExecutive communicationNegotiation and conflict resolutionSuccess MetricsOn-time delivery of engineering milestonesProgram budget performanceCustomer satisfactionSuccessful product qualification and launchReduction in technical and schedule risks
