Direct Support Professional- Greenwood, IN

Description The nature of the job of a Direct Support Professional (DSP) is to provide 1:1 care to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities at home and in the community. Shifts 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. Monday–Friday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. two weekdays each week 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays This is a part‑time position, averaging about 20 hours per week. Requirements Assists individuals supported with one or more of the following: self‑care, self‑direction, expressive or receptive language, ambulation or mobility, activities of daily living (ADLs), learning, independent living, economic self‑sufficiency, physical activity, or community participation. Documents work records via AccelTrax with mandatory clocking in and out using Electronic Visit Verification if applicable. Includes a narrative note for each shift detailing activities, whereabouts, and duration of activities, and optional progress notes selecting goals worked on. Trained on the Indiana Home and Community Support Professional standards, with additional training as needed on Behavior Support Plans, Risk Plans, or Medication Administration.
