Accounting Assistant - Austin, TX, US Job ID: 6874284 Posted: 2 days ago Job Description Experience: Entry Level Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year Job Details We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our Accounting team. Responsibilities Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice entry, payment processing, vendor communication, and monitoring outstanding balances. Process payments to vendors and employees through multiple payment methods including ACH, wire transfers, checks, escrow transactions, and credit cards Support month-end close activities by preparing reconciliations and assisting with balance sheet account analysis Maintain accurate records of vendor invoices and ensure all transactions are properly recorded within the ERP system Process customer and vendor credits, returns, and RMAs in accordance with company procedures Apply and post incoming customer and supplier payments within the accounting system Monitor AR and AP aging reports and assist with follow-up efforts to maintain current account balances Assist with payroll processing for assigned offices and ensure timely and accurate payment distribution Review and process employee expense reports Reconcile and record corporate credit card transactions within the appropriate accounting periods.
