Overview
Registered Nurse – Oncology, traveling assignment in Glens Falls, NY, starting 07/30/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $2,226–$2,384 per week with 5x8 days shifts in an outpatient infusion center housed within a hospital setting. This assignment focuses on infusion services and IV therapies for oncology patients and requires EPIC experience and specialized oncology credentials.

Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy, IV antibiotics, IV antifungals, steroids (e.g., Solumedrol), IVIG, iron infusions, and hydration therapies per physician orders
- Manage peripheral IVs and access devices; place or maintain PICCs or implanted ports as applicable
- Monitor patient responses, identify and respond to infusion-related adverse events, and coordinate with the oncology team
- Educate patients and caregivers on infusion procedures, medication purpose, potential side effects, and self-care when applicable
- Document care, assessments, and treatments in the EPIC electronic medical record; ensure compliance with oncologic care standards and safety protocols

Requirements
- License/Certification: New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate (required to staff temporary needs); active RN license in New York
- Certifications: CHEMO CERT (ONS), Oncology Certified RN (OCN), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Experience: 2+ years of current outpatient oncology and infusion experience
- Setting: Able to work effectively in an outpatient infusion center within a hospital
- Technical: EPIC experience required
- Skills: Peripheral IV insertion, Port/Fistula/Catheter experience; IV certification (highly preferred)
- Training: De-escalation training completed (Welle, CPI, or PMCS) as part of onboarding
- Additional: EPIC experience must be documented; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; willingness to comply with 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance
