We are looking for a Pastry Cook who is reliable, hardworking, organized, and committed to supporting a clean, safe, and efficient restaurant environment.

The Pastry Cook plays an essential role in daily restaurant operations, you will carry out the operational directives of the sous chefs and head chef. You must use appropriate tools and ingredients to prepare meals while maintaining cleanliness in your workstation. Success in this role will be demonstrated by the use of available ingredients and kitchen equipment to prepare high-quality desserts. 

The ideal Pastry Cook is dependable, team focused, able to work cleanly and efficiently, and willing to support the culinary team wherever needed. 

The Pastry Cook must be available to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. 

Compensation Band:  

AM Pastry Cook (Prep): $24.00-$25.00/hour

PM Pastry Cook (Line): $20.00-$23.00/hour

• Have an excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
• Execute assigned tasks with precision and speed in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
• Have effective communication skills
• Handle multiple tasks efficiently in a high-pressure environment
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Weekends Availability is a must

• Prior pastry experience, minimum of 2 years 
• Experience in a high volume restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is a must
• Able to work alone and with a team 
• Stable work history and a proven track record of dependability.

The physical demands for this position include seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving intermittently during working hours. This position may require frequently lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
