Dermatologist Opportunity Successful, High-Volume Practice

Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana Position Type: Full-Time (MonThurs; optional half-day Fridays as volume grows) Start Timeline: Within 612 months

A thriving, well-established dermatology practice near Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Dermatologist to join its highly respected team. This practice has experienced significant growth and serves a wide-ranging patient population, from pediatric to geriatric. Although already extremely successful, the group is excited to welcome a dermatologist who will bring a positive presence, collaborative energy, and long-term commitment to the community.

About the Practice

High-volume, well-organized dermatology group with an exceptional local reputation
Strong clinical support staff, including two experienced PAs
Broad patient demographics and clinical variety
90% medical dermatology, 10% cosmetic
Strong operational infrastructure allowing providers to see 4050 patients per day with efficiency and support

Position Highlights

Lead dermatologist overseeing two seasoned PAs
MondayThursday schedule with the potential for a half-day Friday as demand continues to grow
Ability to practice a wide range of medical dermatology, with optional cosmetic services
Collaborative environment where culture, compatibility, and team dynamics are highly valued
Practice is thriving and not urgently filling the rolethe right fit matters most

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive base salary of $350,000
Additional earning potential through negotiable percentage of collections
Additional compensation for PA oversight
Potential for future growth and leadership within the practice

Ideal Candidate

Dermatologist licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Louisiana
Strong medical dermatology foundation; cosmetics optional
Positive, team-oriented, and adaptable
High level of professionalism and excellent patient communication
Comfortable with high patient volume within a supportive workflow
Local candidates preferred, or those with sincere interest in establishing roots in the Baton Rouge community
