This role involves coordinating appointments, maintaining accurate patient information, and assisting callers with questions regarding services and scheduling.This is a hybrid opportunity based in Manhattan, requiring two days per week in the office.Daily ResponsibilitiesManage inbound and outbound patient communicationsCoordinate appointment scheduling and rescheduling activitiesReview and verify demographic, insurance, and referral informationDocument patient interactions within electronic healthcare systemsAssist patients with questions regarding upcoming appointments and required documentationCommunicate with physician offices and referral partners as neededMaintain accurate records and ensure timely follow upSupport administrative projects and department initiativesPerform general office and clerical functionsQualificationsFluent in both Spanish and English, written and verbalHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience in healthcare administration, patient services, scheduling, or customer support preferredWorking knowledge of medical terminology is beneficialStrong computer and data entry skillsExcellent organizational and communication abilitiesAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environmentDetail oriented with a commitment to accuracyDemonstrated reliability and professionalismAttendance ExpectationsSuccessful candidates must demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality.
