Specialty Sales Representative - Immunology - Morristown, New Jersey

The Immunology/Neurology SSR will focus on sales performance and engagement with the account and targets. Current immunology call points are: Neurologists, Immunologists, Allergists, and Specialty Pharmacy companies. The SSRs should focus on a multi-channel strategy, using a hybrid, rep-enabled capability and an omnichannel approach to respond to customers, business and environmental needs of Marketing, Value Access, Operations, Analytics, CL&D, and Medical Affairs. The SSR will be tasked to move at a rapid pace using digital resources for customer engagement and to use technology for call planning/targeting, field communications, field reporting, sales data analysis, reporting and generating insights. Territory to include Morrisown, New Brunswick and surrounding areas. Responsibilities Sales Excellence/Clinical Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Grifols immunoglobulin product portfolio with an advanced understanding of disease states and treatment approaches. Provide branded product and clinical insights aligned with the product’s label to relevant customers. Lead in-depth discussions requiring advanced product knowledge of disease states and treatment approaches. Stay abreast of competitive product dynamics, changing treatment practices or guidelines and their potential impact on Grifols product positioning or usage. Engage a broad range of audiences with varying levels of expertise and work with regional/local systems, centers of excellence, patient advocacy, specialty pharmacies, and individuals involved in the customer journey. Communicate clinical messages that are relevant and specific to each influencer in the decision process (Physician, Office Decision Maker, Clinical Pharmacists, DOP, therapeutic departments, ADR/SP Partner, Infusion Suite Nurse, etc.). Demonstrate account-based selling skills (including group presentations) and build relationships in institutions aligned with customer segmentation. Partner with Marketing, IG Nurse Educators, MSL, Value Access, etc. Educate and promote IG product portfolio to customers including Primary Care Physicians, Allergists, Neurologists, Pharmacists, and Nurses. Key Opinion Leader mapping and appropriate relationship with Grifols Medical Liaison. Leverage business acumen to understand market fluctuations, plasma economics, and distribution channels; build strong relationships with distributors aligned with Managed Markets. Understand physician management companies and apply customer needs and behaviors to territory planning; create action plans for key accounts through data analysis and qualitative conversations to generate sales. Represent customers in the forecast process and remain cognizant of managed care coverage across the territory. Navigate account contract information within Salesforce and communicate share of cost impact to regional or local systems. Stakeholder engagement: establish credibility, become a trusted advisor, and align with national brand strategy to facilitate pull-through of key account priorities. Collaborate with Biopharma teams across therapeutic boundaries to understand local market needs and formulary changes; manage resources to fulfill customer needs (e.g., MSL, IG Nurse Educator, reimbursement specialist). Gather and provide customer insights to Marketing for regional/local/customer/account level solutions; communicate contract changes where needed. Qualifications Position requires a BS/BA degree; Healthcare/Life Science and/or business/marketing degree a plus. 4 Years Pharmaceutical Or Biological Sales Experience Is Required Self-starter capable of organizing time amid day-to-day selling demands; excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; ability to perform market analysis presentations. Ability to use a laptop daily for planning, call activity, and territory needs. Overnight travel occasionally required; weekend or evening work may be required. Domestic relocation or area-specific considerations may apply; related experience and/or education may be substituted as allowed. Daily activities may involve driving a corporate vehicle within the territory; occasional heavy lifting up to 35 lbs; ability to communicate complex information clearly; strong listening and interpersonal skills. Compensation and Benefits The estimated pay scale for the Specialty Sales Rep - Immunology role based in Morristown, New Jersey is $120,000 to $145,000 per year. The position is eligible for an incentive compensation plan, with an estimated target of $46,000 per year, uncapped. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, and up to 5% 401(K) match, plus tuition reimbursement. Final compensation depends on education, experience, skillset, knowledge, location, and market data.
