Job Overview:
The Project Coordinator III will work closely with program managers, technical leads, and engineers to organize workstreams, document plans, and manage project progress. This role involves tracking prototype builds, deliverables, and tasks with external partners, as well as managing international shipping, receiving, and logistics. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, engineering development using Jira, and international logistics, with a strong preference for experience in Asia.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with program managers, technical leads, and engineers to organize workstreams and document plans.
• Track progress of prototype builds and deliverables.
• Utilize Jira for engineering development tracking.
• Manage international shipping, receiving, and logistics for development projects.
• Track task progress, collect information, and create presentations (dashboards) for stakeholders.
• Coordinate tasks with external partners.
• Work with finance and purchasing teams to onboard suppliers, obtain proposals and quotations, place orders, and track deliveries.
• Assist engineering teams with documentation of development processes.
• Map and track progress of Statements of Work (SOWs) with external development partners.
• Update internal website information and maintain meeting notes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in program/project management.
• Experience with constructing work breakdown structures for schedule and resource planning.
• Preferred experience in the development and launch of consumer products.
• Highly organized with great attention to detail.
• Self-starter with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to construct schedule models from the ground up without prior baseline.
• Capable of working in a new environment and gathering input from various stakeholders.
• Proficient in cross-functional collaboration with different teams and functions.

Top 3 Must-Have Hard Skills:

• Experience in international shipping, logistics, and receiving, with a high preference for experience in Asia.
• Proficiency in Jira for engineering development.
• Strong project management skills.

Top 3 Must-Have Soft Skills:

• Scheduling – ability to handle complications and uncertainties in program schedules.
• Detail-oriented – monitor progress, track deliverables, and collect data effectively.
• Multi-tasking – ability to work with several suppliers on a daily basis.

Good to Have Skills:

• Experience with NPI (New Product Introduction) for customer hardware.
• Understanding of the basic process of design and development for consumer electronic products.
• Ability to work independently with limited guidance.

Pay Range: $45- $55/hr on W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
