CNC Turning Operator

Apply today for your last stop on your career search! As a CNC Turning set up and production operator at your focus will be to: Set up to operate CNC Lathe machinery Familiar with Macro programming. Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary. Interpret drawings, specifications, process sheets, program readouts and shop orders to plan and check work. Obtain proper set of tools from tool crib, select insert types, and check tools for accuracy. Interpret drawings, route sheets, diagrams, specifications and instructions to determine proper operation sequences. Make necessary calculations for tool depth and tool adjustments. Move completed material to next workstation. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Education and Experience Requirements One year certificate from college or technical school preferred. 1-3 years related experience or training. Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions. Mechanically inclined with strong math skills. Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers, and calipers. Working knowledge and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds. Willing to complete a blueprint reading course. #J-18808-Ljbffr
