Use research and build relationships to understand customer applications to help determine where sales opportunities reside and convert opportunities into new business/liliContact and meet regularly with current and prospective customers to develop and embrace the relationship/liliPlan, execute, and follow up on product demonstrations/liliUnderstand and review product drawings, 3D models, and bills of material of all configurations for use in presenting products, their options, and proposals to prospective customers. Answer technical and applications questions on products with ability to liaise with engineering and/or manufacturing departments for complex questions while keeping customers engaged/liliPrepare, review, and present product sales proposals for each opportunity that meets the customers needs. Utilize effective communication with customers, both internally and externally, related to quotes, competitive information, trade shows, threats, opportunities, and follow-up. Work with engineering and manufacturing departments to get accurate data and specifications on proposals and to pass on pertinent information after project is won. All proposals must be approved by Integral dx Quote Committee/liliGain a working knowledge of MRP to assist in managing, prospecting, and closing sales opportunities/liliConduct new product delivery training and/or commissioning and promote aftermarket offerings including service part sales/liliCoordinate any warranty and/or service work within the region; light service work may be performed by the territory manager/liliParticipate in developing marketing strategies for territory and take ownership of carrying out finalized strategy/liliParticipate in regional associations, regional and national trade shows, and lead the follow up effort; prepare and/or assist in the preparation of exhibitor lists for trade shows/liliParticipate in business planning and/or budget planning/liliParticipate in training of new territory managers as needed/liliAchieve and maintain proficiency in manufacturing and engineering terminology/lili75% travel is required, mostly within the MidSouth territory (AR, KS, LA, MO, NM, OK, TX) as well as training and meetings in Minnesota, while providing activity summary reports to management weekly/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliBachelors degree/lili5+ years sales experience in mobile equipment, preferably with concrete mixer trucks/liliWilling and able to travel up to 75% of the time; must have a valid passport, a good driving record, be eligible to rent a vehicle, and meet entry requirements to travel to Canada and other countries/liliAble to read and interpret documents and write routine reports and correspondence/liliSpeaks effectively before groups of customers and Integral dx employees/liliExperienced in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, etc./liliUses advanced technology, including smart devices/liliHas knowledge of machinery, equipment, material, bill of materials, etc./liliUtilizes strong active listening skills/liliMultitasks, prioritizes, and manages time effectively/li/ulpOR have any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance./ppThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this position.
