Assistant Manager

Start as an Assistant Manager. Grow into a General Manager. KTR Glendale is looking for an energetic, dependable leader who wants to build a career with us. You’ll start as an Assistant Manager, learning our operations, developing your leadership skills, and taking on increasing responsibility. This role is intended to grow into a Manager position as you demonstrate strong performance and readiness to lead. You’ll work alongside the General Manager to support our staff, keep daily operations running smoothly, and deliver an experience that keeps guests coming back. This is an active leadership role—you’ll be on the floor, coaching employees, solving problems, and jumping in wherever your team needs you. What You’ll Do Lead daily shifts and help oversee front desk operations, activity areas, birthday parties, and group events. Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable for guest service, safety, and cleanliness. Help train new employees and support scheduling and shift coverage. Welcome guests, answer questions, and resolve concerns professionally. Help employees confidently explain memberships, admission options, parties, and current promotions. Support opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily operational checklists. Monitor facility conditions and communicate maintenance needs promptly. Partner with the General Manager to improve operations and meet business goals. Take on additional management responsibilities as your experience and skills develop. Who We’re Looking For Experience leading a team in entertainment, hospitality, retail, recreation, or another customer-facing business. A dependable leader who takes initiative, follows through, and leads by example. Strong communication skills and the confidence to coach employees and give constructive feedback. Someone who stays organized and makes sound decisions during busy shifts. A guest-first attitude and a commitment to creating a safe, welcoming environment. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. A desire to learn the business and grow into a Manager role. Previous assistant manager, shift supervisor, or team lead experience is preferred.
