Job Summary
We are currently seeking skilled and team-oriented applicants for the following position: Administrative Assistant 2 within the Campus Police Department. This is a part time and benefit eligible position. This position will interact with a diverse clientele, both inside and outside of the university, including students, parents, faculty, staff and community members. The ideal candidate will be customer focused and work independently, be a team player, an excellent listener and communicator. This position is a representative of the university and our campus police and must maintain a professional, outgoing and helpful attitude and demeanor. The salary for this position is $22,434 - $29,892, where the hired candidate will begin within this range is dependent on education, experience, and skills. This salary is based on 20 hours per week and is eligible for EWU's comprehensive benefit package.

- HS Diploma or G.E.D
- Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated ability to work well with, and be sensitive to, people from diverse backgrounds and people of all ages.
- Strong attention to detail as well as organizational and time management skills.

- Must pass police department background investigation, including state and federal background checks.
- Demonstrated ability to apply a responsive and flexible approach that is supportive of the needs including universal access of our students, faculty, staff and the public
