Supply Chain Planner Senior (Onsite)

Supply Chain PlannerThe Supply Chain Planner (SCP) is the focal point for all supply chain activities. The planner develops and implements long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues, production location decisions, etc. in support of business growth and sustainment. The planner supports execution of programs and coordination of new program / product launches. SCP monitors key performance indicators, analyzes performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives. The Supply Chain Planner optimizes how supply chain management interfaces with manufacturing systems. SCP will plan, prepare, issue and control material requirements in conjunction with the production schedule. Planner will support risk management activities impacting the value chain working with cross-functional teams. The planner ensures that shipments are accomplished to maintain contract/internal delivery commitments. SCP will utilize system and process tools to achieve program / functional goals. As a senior planner, this position requires that the individual possess a strong understanding of procurement and planning process steps; the individual must be capable of troubleshooting process failures to ensure success for the program. Candidate will be expected to train and mentor junior level supply chain team members. This position relies on experience and judgment to organize, plan, and accomplish department objectives with a wide degree of creativity, continuous improvement approach, and latitude expected to fulfill a variety of duties.Required Education, Experience, & SkillsBachelor's Degree Business/Supply Chain or related field5+ years equivalent work experiencePlanning experience in a large multifaceted electronic manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with defense aerospace industry & regulationsSignificant ERP System Experience (Oracle, SAP, Other), inclusive of shop floor control systemsKnowledge of Manufacturing processesKnowledge of Supply Chain Planning systems and processesSales & Operations ExperienceInventory and stockroom managementAbility to verbally and accurately report production status to program team or factory teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsCreate presentation materials and give presentations to leadership team, production team, and customersMicrosoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)Ability to analyze, react, and train on exceptions in MRP, especially around Bills of Material, Material Planning, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders and ECOsAbility to verbally and accurately report production status to program team or factory teamPreferred Education, Experience, & SkillsExtremely detail-oriented and organizedStrong sense of urgency and follow-throughHigher level education completed or in processPay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $67728 - $115138 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
