Abilene Sports Medicine & Orthopedics (ASMO) – PM&R / Interventional Spine Physician Fall 2026 Abilene Sports Medicine & Orthopedics (ASMO) is seeking a full-time, board-certified/board-eligible PM&R/Interventional Spine Physician to join our growing orthopedic team in Abilene, Texas, in Fall 2026. Candidates must have completed an ACGME-accredited PM&R residency with strong interventional spine training. We welcome applications from current residents and fellows preparing to transition into practice. About the Role ASMO is seeking a clinically spine-focused PM&R physician with a strong interventional skill set to support the growing musculoskeletal and spine needs of West Texas. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in the evaluation, diagnosis, and non-operative management of spinal conditions while working collaboratively alongside orthopedic surgeons and multidisciplinary specialists. What You’ll Do You will provide comprehensive non-operative spine and musculoskeletal care with a focus on: Evaluation and diagnosis of spinal conditions Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar interventional procedures High and low cervical transforaminal injections Thoracic transforaminal injections Routine EMG and nerve conduction studies for musculoskeletal diagnoses Bread and butter PM&R and musculoskeletal cases This role emphasizes evidence-based, interventional treatment strategies while collaborating closely with orthopedic surgeons, therapy teams, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes.
