Based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, the company has built a strong reputation in the neckwear category and expanded over time into socks, underwear, accessories, tailored clothing and sportswear. \nWe're looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance function as the business continues to scale.
\n \nWhat You'll Do
\n- \n
- Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries \n
- Support monthly close processes and account reconciliations \n
- Manage cash flow reconciliation and reporting \n
- Help prepare royalty reports for licensed brand partners \n
- Assist with budgeting and expense tracking across departments \n
- Maintain organized, accurate financial records and documentation \n
What We're Looking For
\n- \n
- 3-5 years of accounting experience (apparel, wholesale, or licensing industry experience a plus) \n
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field \n
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with Microsoft D365 or similar ERP/accounting software preferred \n
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills \n
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment \n
- Experience with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) a plus \n
