Sales Representative - South/ Southeast/ Midwest

Job Description:

Fess Parker Winery is currently seeking a full-time Sales Representative to join our Sales Team.
We have an open position covering multiple states throughout the South/Southeast/Midwest. This position will focus on working with our existing distribution network to maintain and build strong relationships to enhance brand growth across the region.
We are looking for organized, self-motivated candidates who are willing to use a consultative sales approach to sell our diverse portfolio of wines including Fess Parker, Epiphany and Addendum across multiple channels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
•  Meets agreed upon goals and objectives effectively and in a timely manner.
•  Personal motivation and a drive to succeed in a highly competitive environment.
•  Establish & maintain rapport with buyers and key contacts at all accounts
•  Conduct wine education and host events for applicable accounts
•  Develop weekly written plans and required recaps for execution
•  Increase business through new placements, managing sell-through with customers, and regularly opening new accounts within the territory
•  Work closely with Distributor reps, sales managers & key account managers to maintain a high standard of service for all customers
•  Responds to emails and phone calls, from management, operations, and distributors in a timely manner
QUALIFICATIONS:
•  High School or GED diploma.
•  Minimum of two (2) years of sales in the wine industry is preferred with focus on fine wine, distribution and/or supply side experience
•  Strong existing relationships with buyers on and off premise throughout the region
•  Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills.
•  Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current automobile insurance
•  Must reside within territory*
•  Must be at least 21 years of age
*Candidate must reside in one of the major markets within Texas, Florida, Illinois - regional assignment will be based on city/state of residence
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
•  Must be able to lift a minimum of 45 lbs.
•  Must possess excellent verbal communication, written communication, and listening skills
•  Must be a team player who can multi-task and respond quickly to demanding situations.
COMPENSATION:
This is a full-time position with a base salary supplemented by monthly commissions that are commensurate with experience and skill level; supplemented with a car and phone allowance.
The Fess Parker Winery offers a complete health care package, including medical, dental, vision and life insurance, with employer contributions. PTO and Holiday pay, 401k plans and profit sharing. This position will require weekends, and evenings, but typically day hour shifts.
