Associate Attorney - Insurance Coverage

Job Title: Insurance Coverage Attorney Location: Hartford, CT (hybrid or remote; must live in the general area for court appearances) Base Salary Range: $100k–$150k/year + bonus; Salary: $110,000 - $150,000 per year Why Join Us? Federal court experience is a plus, but not required. Responsibilities Reviewing complex insurance contracts and assessing related legal issues. Communicating with clients to provide clear and strategic coverage recommendations. Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents. Managing litigation caseloads, including depositions, court appearances, and motion practice, both independently and under supervision. Performing in-depth legal research and responding to regulatory inquiries. Accurately recording and maintaining billable hours while ensuring all deadlines are met. Qualifications Admission to practice in the State of Connecticut is required. (MA, NY, NJ, PA is a plus) Federal Court experience is a plus. At least 3 years of experience in insurance coverage or related fields (e.g., reinsurance, regulatory). Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills, with a commitment to delivering error‑free work. Experience with written discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
