Job Summary: Assembler - Circuit Board Assembly | Sugar Land, TX
[About the Role]Join our manufacturing team in Sugar Land, TX as an Assembler, specializing in circuit board assembly and electronic product testing. Play a vital part in delivering high-quality products while working in a collaborative, on-site environment. This is an excellent opportunity to build your technical expertise and grow within the electronics manufacturing industry. [Responsibilities] - Assemble components for all product lines with precision and attention to detail
- Select and utilize appropriate tools, fixtures, and rework techniques
- Test assembled products and troubleshoot assembly or testing issues
- Read and interpret blueprints and design drawings accurately
- Identify electronic components and ensure quality standards are met
- Create and maintain accurate labor records for all assembly transactions
- Operate equipment to dimension and set tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies
- Use microscopes for extended periods to inspect solder joints and assembly quality
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Manufacturing System [Required Skills and Experience] - 2-3 years of experience in circuit board assembly or similar electronics manufacturing
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficient in assembly and soldering of printed circuit boards (PWA)
- Ability to read blueprints and design drawings
- Skilled in identifying electronic components and solder defects
- Understanding of quality standards such as IPC-610
- Fine motor skills for detailed assembly work
- Basic computer skills; experience with SAP or similar systems
- English language proficiency [Preferred Skills] - Experience with Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Knowledge of blueprint interpretation
- Previous exposure to quality inspection using microscopes [Benefits] - Competitive hourly wage: USD 19.50
- 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (occasional weekends as needed)
