What You’ll Do:

• Receive behavioral skills training from master’s and doctoral-level clinicians on the assessment and treatment of problem behavior.
• Gain experience designing and implementing functional analyses
• Gain experience designing and implementing function-based treatments across a wide array of learners
• Gain experience with graphing and data interpretation
• Receive behavioral skills training from master’s- and doctoral-level clinicians and educators on designing and implementing protocols to establish important repertoires (e.g., communication, life skills) for our learners.
• Work under an excellent model of supervision
• Observe ethical, compassionate, and person-centered decision-making and problem-solving
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized educational programs
• Provide instruction and care using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
• Teach and support skill development in areas such as: Communication and social interaction Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal hygiene Vocational and pre-employment skills Adaptive physical education and self-preservation
• Receive paid training and coaching
• Promote a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment in both classroom and residential settings

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Compassion, patience and dedication to help autistic students who engage in challenging behaviors
• Valid Driver’s License with personal vehicle
• CPR training (can be completed with us during your first 6 months)
• NECC CALM training # Physical and Verbal De-escalation training and Medication Administration#training (ability to get#MAP Certified)
